About the Grocery Shuttle:
This program is a partnership between Basic Needs, Associated Students (A.S.) and Transportation to improve accessibility of food security resources in the San Diego area!
The grocery shuttle takes students to local grocery stores & shopping centers to serve as a resource to access culturally reflective nourishing food! View more information about the Grocery Shuttle here.
How Does it Work?
- This program is free to all UC San Diego students, including both undergraduate & graduate students!
- Main pick up spot is at Gilman Transit Center (corner of Library Walk and Gilman Dr.)
- You can hop off and on at any stop!
- Operates: On Weekends, every 30 minutes 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during fall, winter and spring quarters, excluding university holidays. Sixty-minute frequency during the summer.
- Shuttle tracking: Live map – Toggle Grocery Shuttle – Convoy on to view the route map; hover over vehicles and stops to see more information.
