Summer Session 2 Operation Update:
During Summer Session II, between Monday, August 3rd through Friday, September 4th, all Basic Needs physical spaces [Student Center A and One Miramar Street (OMS) grad housing] will be closed and under renovations. We will still be monitoring our email: basicneeds@ucsd.edu
Although we are currently undergoing renovations, we want to uplift alternative resources you can connect with to support your basic needs both on and off campus.
Come to our 2026 Free Food Distributions!
Stop by our food distributions for free food, available to all students, staff, faculty, and community members! Come by the Basic Needs Center at Malk Hall (corner of Ridgewalk North Learning and Living Neighborhood) to receive fresh produce and shelf stable pantry items on July 31st, August 28th, September 25th, October 30th, November 20th, and December 11th! Each distribution will be from 12:00PM-2:30PM!
